The top line of your roof is known as ridge capping. Over time the cement bed or the flexible pointing on your roof will degrade and start to crumble. Our job at Roof Repointing Brisbane is to fix these areas before they before a bigger problem.

Damaged ridge capping can lead to roof leak and a weak roof. Keeping on top of this by having the roof repointed is one of the best things you can do to ensure your roof in good condition.

All roofs need some attention to the ridge capping and when the time comes you have two different ways to fix it; roof re-bedding or roof re-pointing.

With all roof cement work, it is recommended that you have it inspected by a qualified tradesman. Upon inspection our qualified roofers will provide you with a comprehensive quote for repointing.

With a full re-bedding of the roof, all the ridge caps are removed including the cement bedding. This is taken away and then a new layer of mortar mix is applied (the bedding) and the ridge capping reinstalled. The cement is allowed set, then we apply the flexible pointing.
